In May 2023, Hamburg-based photographer Nicole Keller launched the artistic project PHOTOMINO. Inspired by the motto “Opening Horizons,” she sent her photo “Das große Los” (The Big Win) to 15 photographers from all German states with the request to interpret it freely.
Participants included Herlinde Koelbl (Bavaria), Natalie Kepesz (Berlin), Gordon Welters (Brandenburg), Shirin Abedi (Lower Saxony), Sabine Bungert & Stefan Dolfen (North Rhine-Westphalia), Nora Klein (Thuringia), and many others. The resulting works were presented in 2023 at the Levantehaus Hamburg and the Hamburg State Representation in Berlin.
