Friedenstein Palace
Friedenstein Palace is one of the most significant early Baroque palace complexes in Germany. Built in the 17th century, it continues to shape the cityscape of Gotha to this day and symbolizes the courtly culture of the Dukes of Saxe-Gotha. The complex is complemented by the Ducal Museum with its art and cultural history collections. Susanne Brumme shares her knowledge of the Thuringian ducal families at the Friedenstein Foundation in Gotha.
